Where do I pick up the bike?<\/h3>\r\n\t

At Triana Hostel, our hostel in the Triana district of Seville. We hand it over to you in person, adjusted to your height, and go through the equipment with you before you set off. The official starting point of the V\u00eda de la Plata, Seville Cathedral, is a short walk from the hostel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Where do I drop off the bike when I finish the Camino?<\/h3>\r\n\t

In Santiago de Compostela, the bike will be collected from the hostel or hotel where you are staying. Collection is included in the price.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Can I drop off the bike somewhere other than Santiago?<\/h3>\r\n\t

We have agreements with other drop-off points. Tell us where you plan to finish the Camino and we will let you know whether it is possible to return the bike there.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Can I stay at the hostel the night before setting off?<\/h3>\r\n\t

Yes, and that is what most of our pilgrims do: you arrive in Seville, sleep at Triana Hostel, then pick up the bike in the morning and start the Camino without rushing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

How many days does it take to cycle the V\u00eda de la Plata?<\/h3>\r\n\t

The V\u00eda de la Plata from Seville to Santiago is around 1,000 km. Most cycling pilgrims complete it in 10\u201314 days, although some do it faster and others prefer to take more time. If you tell us your plan, we will help you calculate the rental days.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

What condition are the bikes in?<\/h3>\r\n\t

The bikes are in good condition: we check and tune them after every rental, and before handing your bike over we go through it with you so you can leave Seville with everything working perfectly.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

What is included with the bike?<\/h3>\r\n\t

The bike comes equipped with a rear rack and, with the rental, we provide two panniers, a bottle cage for water \u2014 bottle not included \u2014 a tool kit, pump, spare inner tube and a lock.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Does the bike have clipless pedals?<\/h3>\r\n\t

No, we provide the bike with standard pedals, but if you want to fit your own pedals, that is no problem.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Are the panniers waterproof?<\/h3>\r\n\t

Yes. The panniers we rent are Ortlieb Back-Roller City panniers, among the best on the market. Close them and forget about the rain.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

How far in advance do I need to book?<\/h3>\r\n\t

The earlier you book, the easier it is to secure your bike, especially in spring and autumn, which are the busiest seasons. Since pickup is here in Seville and there is no shipping involved, if bikes are available we can accept bookings even with just a few days\u2019 notice: just ask us.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Can I cancel my booking?<\/h3>\r\n\t

Yes. Since payment is made when you pick up the bike, cancellation has no cost. We only ask that you let us know as early as possible so we can offer the bike to another pilgrim.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

What happens if the bike breaks down on the way?<\/h3>\r\n\t

The bike is handed over in perfect condition and we check it with you at pickup. Once the Camino has started, it is the user\u2019s responsibility to return the bike in the same condition; if it breaks, the user must repair it. If you have any problem during the route, contact us.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Do I have to pay a deposit?<\/h3>\r\n\t

Yes. At pickup, together with the rental payment, a \u20ac200 deposit per bike is charged by card at the hostel. This covers theft or damage not caused by normal use, such as falls or missing parts. Once the bike reaches us in Santiago and we check that it is in good condition, we refund the charge and the \u20ac200 automatically returns to the same card, with no action required from you.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

How is payment made?<\/h3>\r\n\t

All payments are made here at the hostel when you pick up the bike. You do not have to pay anything in advance to book: confirm your dates by email or phone and pay when you collect it in Seville.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

Do I have to return the bike clean?<\/h3>\r\n\t

The bike is handed over clean and must be returned clean. Otherwise, a \u20ac10 cleaning charge will be applied.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n“`\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
